All About
Uranus
By Jack Brent

The Planet's Name: Uranus is named after a roman god called uranus. he was the sky god.

Position in the Solar System Is the seventh planet from the sun.

Rotation on its Axis:It is 17.24 hours so it is much quicker than Earth. Size It is around 25,362KM so it is bigger than Earth.

Gravity: Uranus gravity is around 8.69m/s.

orbit: Around 84 years a lot longer than Earth.

Atmosphere:The atmosphere of Uranus, like those of the larger gas giants, Jupiter and Saturn, is composed primarily of hydrogen and helium. At depth it is significantly enriched in volatiles (dubbed "ices") such as water, ammonia and methane.

Temperature:The upper atmosphere is made of water, ammonia and the methane ice crystals that give the planet its pale blue color. Uranus hits the coldest temperatures of any planet: With minimum atmospheric temperature of -224°C Uranus is nearly coldest planet in the solar system compared to Earth we are around 20 degrees.

Composition of Your Planet and its Appearance:The upper atmosphere is made of water, ammonia and the methane ice crystals that give the planet its pale blue color. Uranus hits the coldest temperatures of any planet: With minimum atmospheric temperature of -224°C Uranus is nearly coldest planet in the solar system.

Moons:
Uranus has 27 moons that we know of. Five of the moons are large and the rest are much smaller. The five large moons are called Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, and Oberon. Titania is the largest moon of Uranus and it is covered with small craters, a few large craters, and very rough rocks.

Rings:The rings of Uranus were discovered on March 10, 1977, by James L. Elliott, Edward W. Dunham, and Jessica Mink. More than 200 years ago, in 1789, William Herschel also reported observing rings; some modern astronomers are skeptical that he could have actually seen them, as they are very dark and faint – others are not.

How Would a Human Being Fare on Your Planet: The humans can't live in Uranus because are different gases that are cold hydrogen, helium and methane. Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun and it is between Saturn and Neptune. It is the third biggest of the Gas Giant planets

Something Special: It’s really cold, faint rings and a giant gas planet

Discovery of Your Planet:William Herschel he discovered uranus and you can't see it with a naked eye.

Your personal opinion:  Uranus is very sad because he is the only planet on it’s side and it's very cold.  :)
